Hi All !

Well its been a couple weeks since my last post on here.
I have pretty busy since coming back from the Carnaval at Ouro Preto .
We have started with our groups of kids at the Rock House.
We have groups of children come to our place from the surrounding slum
to learn about Jesus, to have community, to help them with their homework,
play games, learn how to swim in the new pool and to have godly encouraging
influence in their life. We also visit the families homes of the children during the week to
build relationship, to counsel and pray with them.
On the weekends I have been also involved with a team to have an impact outreach to different
communities. On one weekend in the local Favala we had a hip hop team come and rap and a team from Finland perform dramas accompanied by some preaching. We also had several people talking and befriending people and sharing the Word of Christ message and love for them.
It was a great time. I really enjoyed the rap team, great bunch of guys lifting up the name of Jesus. Last Friday I attended a prayer meeting in a small church. It was a great time praying and worshiping God. We prayed also for the persecuted Christians in different parts of the world.
One thing a young girl said was " When a christian is hurting in another nation we should care and carry them in prayer because they are a part of us, we are from the same Body and we need to take care for our Body and pray for them." So true we are more than just Christians in our church, city or country we are part of the global Body of Jesus Christ. One Faith one Family One Body in Jesus Christ who is our Head. Please pray for the Christians all over the World.

We went out after to an area called Andradas where we ministered to kids who live on the street.
We played football and Uno with some. I got to talk to a few boys and we were able to speak life into them and pray for them and hug them. I was with some young men from the masters comission,( a ministry school connected to YWAM). One of the young men was translating for me. He had told me that he himself ran away from home when he was young and lived on the streets for 3 years. He ran away because of being severely beaten several times from family members.
He met some christian people who took him into a YWAM shelter.
He was a success story and there are many more stories like his, where boys get rescued off the brutal streets. The YWAM ministry also works with the families of the street kids to try and reconcile and minister to the family and kids.
Well it has been a very diverse experience so far and a new adventure every week.
Bless you all and thanks for reading.
Thank you for your prayers, support and encouragement.
All in The Lord our Savior Jesus Christ
To Him be Glory.
Thank you Jesus for all your Love and Grace
